Last week room 4 went to the tairawhiti Enviro centre and ate a lot of kale and learned about landfill and went to a replica of a landfill. We sat on milk bottles in bean-bags and learned about the 6 rs and they are in the image. Later on we had to leave.
My highlight was the kale and this lemein plant and man it was delish! I put some in my sandwich.
I highly recommend going and see the rat trap library in the reception because they have old pallets that they use as desks and tables, so you may want to do it as well. There was a big shed with heaps of food go to the link below if you are interested.
Hi Jackson, I liked how you talked about going to the replica of a landfill and the food you ate. It sounded really interesting. It reminds me of this time in room four when me and some other kids went to electric village. Was it fun going to the replica of a landfill?
